An interesting problem is what Google does when it doesn't have tracking data because of lack of cell coverage and Google StreetView hasn't been there. Ken: Also interesting is in jurisdictions that do not want to give up their data for free to Google. When I was in Lyon last year, I realized that you can't get any public transportation directions from Google Maps.
