I like the graph, but I would have liked some reference dates along the horizontal axis.

It might also be interesting to see the median incomes and the housing prices (to check whether NYC housing prices really do not fall).

Sorry if this is slightly unrelated but... does anyone knows which font the NYT uses for its graph ? I've always found that it fits really well with the graphical information, but never managed to pinpoint the exact font name.
