I'm guessing they're meant to represent drugs? Like a cascade of pills falling from the pocket of your local dealer?

Wow. That's excellent! Next time I need pretty pictures for a conference presentation, I'll just make a bunch of 3d Excel charts and spin them around. Fun!

This is what happens when someone combines infographics with drugs. To make it worse they are not always exact duplicates and sometimes the edges of the pills don't match the face.
